What do I alter?
Bridal
Bride, Bridesmaids, Mothers, Grandmothers, Guests. Unfortunately I do not do children’s alterations at this time.
Prom and Special Occasion
Prom, Homecoming, and most any occasion that calls for a formal gown.
Tuxedo and Menswear
Shorten sleeves and hem pants (or lengthen them if it’s a rental). I can look at more complex requests, but I have less experience with extensive menswear alterations.

Who is the Seamstress?
I’m Emily, and this is my business! I’ve been a seamstress since 2006, and have been doing bridal and special occasion alterations since 2021. I’ve worked with cosplay and theatre costuming earlier in my career, so I have lots of experience and insight to get the job done!

Some notes about the fittings:
If you know the designer and style of your dress, or can provide a link if you ordered it online, please include that in your message.
The first appointment will be set a month before the event date. If complex customizations are requested, three months.
If you are traveling for your event, please use the day you plan on leaving as the event date.
Please bring your shoes and undergarments that you plan on wearing with the outfit to the fitting. Different shoes than the actual ones may be used as long as the heels are the same height.
Please do not bring children under the age of 14
